VIP Design Day

A VIP Website Makeover Day or VIP Design Day is a where I block out a 7 hour day in my diary, which will be dedicated solely to your business. I will work exclusively with you and we can work through your tech to do list, such as helping you complete a list of pesky website edits you’ve been meaning to get to forever, or finally create that new landing page for your new service or package you’ve been putting off launching until you had all your ducks in a row. We can also spend time creating a suite of social media templates for you to use in Canva or Adobe Express to help you get more visible online. The day is yours to use as you wish!

Your remaining 50% payment is due no less than 24 hours before your scheduled VIP Design Day. Failure to pay this will result in your VIP being rescheduled, subject to my availability. Deposits are valid for up to 90 days.

If you’re a business owner who already has an online presence with a WordPress website and brand identity (logo, typography, colour palette), but don’t have the time or knowledge needed to spend giving it the much needed updates it needs to work harder for your business, the VIP Website Makeover Day is perfect for you. Due to the nature of this offer, you’ll need to be available to provide quick, decisive feedback throughout the day.

It really depends on how well defined your task list is. Rather than thinking about things in terms of deliverables, the VIP Design Day is about you receiving 7 hours of my pure attention and professional skills and knowledge. If you’ve got a sales page that needs creating, you’ll need to provide the content for this upfront, or perhaps you’d like some social media templates or marketing materials like presentation slides; we can also work through the backend tech updates, like updating plugins, updating WordPress itself or your theme to the latest standards (all vital but often mundane tasks for keeping your website healthy and secure). All of this will be discussed during your discovery call.

I’ll need you to be around to answer questions on WhatsApp or Voxer throughout the 7 hours.

This doesn’t mean you have to be glued to your phone, but it does mean being available at short notice to answer questions or leave a quick voicenote within a few minutes to give feedback so I can continue with the progress we’ve planned.

As we’ll have discussed your priority task list before the day, I’ll have let you know what is achievable within our 7 hours together. If I think you’re going to need more time then I’ll be transparent and honest with you.

Think of website design as the building your business your perfect house. You’ve got to think about the foundations as well as the wallpaper and accessories! SEO is the foundations of your website, and what will ultimately gain you more visitors, more visibility and more income (SEO is not about quick fixes!). During our day together, we can look at your keywords and how we can integrate them into your website, improve and optimise your existing content, and check your meta descriptions and alt tags are optimised. We can resize and rename any images that aren’t setup in the best way too, and add any missing alt tags, which is also important for accessibility as well as SEO. (Please note, there’s no guarantee that your website will rank any higher with this work alone, but laying these solid foundations will set you up for long-term visibility).

Before working together on your VIP Design Day, you will need to complete a branding questionnaire which lays the foundation information of your business and vision for the future, gather your brand photos, prepare your proof-read final website copy, and supply any other branded visuals. If you have specific brand style guidelines these will need to be shared with me as well, to ensure the brand consistency of your content is retained. 

If we’re working on a website together then you’ll need to make sure I have all login details or necessary access to things like your domain names, DNS settings, and hosting, as well as a payment method to purchase any subscription plans required (which will be discussed prior to any purchase).

Having all of this together upfront is key to ensuring we’re fully maximising your return on investment!

I am not a copywriter myself, the design and user experience of your website is where my strengths lie. I can provide you with my content planner which includes guides and space for you to provide me with content for each section of the core pages of your website (generally speaking the homepage, about, services, etc). I also have a trusted network of professional copywriters that I have worked with previously and I can recommend to you for further work.
